Free Pressure Canner Gauge Testing at CCE office in Herkimer, NY
If you have a pressure canner with a dial gauge, it should be tested annually for accuracy. CCE Herkimer County can test your pressure canner gauge at our office in East Herkimer free of charge. You only need to bring the gauge itself or just the canner lid with the gauge. Please call us at 315-866-7920 to make an appointment.
Pressure Canner Gauge Testing information to send directly to National Presto:
For National Presto canners with the “dial type” gauge, call their customer service number at 1-800-877-0441 (M – F, 9 am – 5:30 pm Eastern Time). You may also email them at contact@gopresto.com. They will answer your questions about sending your gauge to them for testing (free) and / or replacement. Ship the gauge to: Service Department, National Presto Industries, Inc., 3925 North Hastings Way, Eau Claire, WI 54703 and send them the tracking #. They will test and ship back at no charge, or contact you regarding replacement. For parts and other info from Presto, visit their website: GoPresto
Note that Mirro and WearEver pressure canners do not have dial-type gauges…..just a weighted gauge that does not need to be tested. But if you have questions about your Mirro or WearEver pressure canner, call 1-800-527-7727 (M – F, 9 am – 5 pm EST), or email contact-us@wearever.com
