Hot and humid. Dry to the east along the coast with the Bermuda high in control. Wet west with a stalled front to the west and ample moisture streaming up from the south. Exact position of maximum rainfall will depend on where the front finally settles. Expect up to two inches from western NY to about Ithaca and less than a half inch in New England the city and NJ. Temps will be 8-10 degrees above normal for the whole week with highs 80-90 and lows in the mid to upper 60 and low 70s to the south and east. This pattern should persist into the next week with a trough to the west of the region and a ridge along the coast keeping both temperatures and precipitation chances above normal
