Last week temperatures ranged from 6 to 9 degrees above normal for most of the state. Precipitation ranged from a trace to over 2”. The base 50 growing degree-days ranged from 150-200.
Isolated scattered showers are possible throughout the period, but are expected to be non-severe and precipitation amounts are low. Overall a nice forecast!
Today will be cooler and less humid with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s. Skies will be partly cloudy with light shower and thunderstorms possible, mostly for the lower Hudson Valley Region. Overnight temperatures will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.
Friday will be partly to mostly sunny with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s. Isolated light showers are possible for eastern areas of the state. Lows will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.
Saturday will be mostly sunny with temperatures in the low to mid 80’s. Overnight temperatures will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.
Sunday will be mostly sunny with highs in the low to mid 80’s. Lows will be in the low to mid 60’s.
Monday will be partly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 80’s. Lows will be in the mid to upper 60’s.
Tuesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 80’s. Lows will be in the mid to upper 60’s.
Wednesday temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80’s. Lows will be in the upper 60’s to low 70’s.
The five-day precipitation amounts will range from a trace to an inch.
The 8-14 day out look (July 18 – 24) is showing normal temperatures and above normal precipitation.
