Last week temperatures were within 4 degrees of normal. Precipitation has ranged from less than a quarter of an inch to 3 inches. Base 50 growing degree-days ranged from 60 to 140.
Today will be mostly sunny with temperatures in the 70s. Overnight lows will be in the upper 40s to low 50s.
Friday temperatures will be in the mid 70s to low 80s with dry conditions during the day. Overnight temperatures will be in the mid 50s to mid 60s with a cold front bringing chances for showers and thunderstorms in the evening into Saturday. Isolated severe storms are possible, with hail and damaging winds.
Saturday temperatures will be in the mid 70s to upper 80s with some lingering showers and thunderstorms possible. Overnight temperatures will be in the 50s.
Sunday will be dry with temperatures in the upper 70s to mid 80s. Overnight temperatures will be in the mid 50s to low 60s.
Monday temperatures will in the upper 70s to upper 80s with showers expected for western NY and slowly moving across the state. Overnight temperatures will be in the 60s.
Tuesday highs will be in the 70s with another round of rain. Overnight temperatures will be in the upper 40s to mid 50s.
Wednesday is expected to be dry with highs in the lower 70s. Overnight temperatures will be in the upper 40s to mid 50s.
The seven-day precipitation amounts will range from three quarters of an inch to one and three quarters of an inch.
The 8-14 day outlook (June 24-30) favors near formal-normal temperatures for western to central NY and slightly favors above-normal temperatures for the eastern half of the state. The outlook slightly favors above-normal precipitation.
