Last week temperatures ranged from 2 to 8 degrees below normal. Precipitation ranged from less than a quarter of an inch to over 1 inch. Base 50 growing degree-days ranged from 20 to 80.

Today will be partly sunny to partly cloudy with temperatures ranging from the mid 50’s to low 70’s. A few scattered light showers are possible. Overnight temperatures will be in the low 30’s to mid 40’s – killing frost is possible!
Friday will be sunny and dry with highs throughout the 60’s. Low temperatures will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.
Saturday will be partly sunny with highs in the upper 60’s to upper 70’s, but breezy. Overnight temperatures will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.
Sunday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and maybe some thunderstorms, highs will be in the low to mid 70’s. Overnight temperatures will be throughout the 50’s.
Monday will be partly sunny with highs in the low to mid 60’s with showers possible. Overnight temperatures will be throughout the upper 40’s.
Tuesday will be partly sunny with highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s. Lows will be in the 40’s.
Wednesday’s highs will be in the low to mid 60’s. Lows will be in the upper 30’s to low 40’s.
The five-day precipitation amounts will range from 1/10 ” to ½ ”.
The 8-14 day outlook (Sept 25 – Oct 1) is showing above normal temperatures and normal precipitation.
There is still an abnormally dry area covering part of the Catskills and southern Hudson Valley.
