Vice President

The vice president should become involved in a broad variety of projects and programs. The primary responsibility of the vice president is to shadow the president so that they can assume the president’s responsibilities should the president become absent or otherwise unable to fulfill the duties of the position. The vice president may also assist the president in planning and implementing class activities and in facilitating communication among class leadership. In the absence of the class president, the vice president will assume all responsibilities of the president’s office, and they may be required to run class meetings, write class letters, and ensure that regular communication among the officer group takes place. In some cases, the title of the VP is attached to secondary roles such as VP of regional events, VP of affinity networking, VP of communications, etc.
