The responsibility of the class council is to coordinate regional or digital class activities and maintain class enthusiasm during non-Reunion years. Because classmates are scattered throughout the world, regional and digital activities are very popular and may even help identify future class leadership. Class council members are crucial gatherers of classmate information including news for the class column and address updates and they can also provide a vital link between classmates and their leaders by relaying ideas for events or suggestions for improvement. After serving on the council, council members may consider moving through the volunteer pipeline into another class officer role.
Class council members are also a great resource for filling smaller roles such as Affinity Group Leaders and serving on the Reunion Committee.
