The Origins Of Black Women Political Leaders

A podcast by Kelli Williams where I explore my belief on the The Origins Of Black Women Political Leaders looking at Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke, Fannie Lou Hamer, Shirley Chisholm, and Cornell’s very own Shelby Williams and Aaliyah Brown. I talk about how representation in the biggest contributor to Black Women becoming political leaders. When Black girls see Black women entering spaces with the determination to make changes that is what inspires them whether that be in the domestic or political sphere. While I was unable to get an interview, I hope I am able to tell a worthwhile story of many past, present, and future.
