Strawberries: Upper sides of berries exhibit a water-soaked, bleached out appearance (sunscald)

Sunscald (sunburn) occurs under conditions of high ultraviolet light. It appears on the upper side of fruit, near the calyx, just prior to ripening. Some varieties (e.g. Earliglow) are more prone to sunscald.
