Sustained trap capture was reported in Niagara County at two sites, with numbers increasing this week at one location.
At one location, first trap capture was reported on 6/16/2025. One male was identified on a sticky card. Sustained trap capture was reported on 6/30/2025. 2 males were identified on a sticky card.
At a second location, first trap capture also reported on 6/9/2025. One male was identified in a jar trap. In subsequent weeks, trap captures have risen quickly, with 17 reported in a jar trap on 6/30/2025.
