Compared to last week’s sale slaughter cows traded 10.00 to 14.00 lower. Slaughter steers and heifers stayed steady to firm with light supply. Holstein bull calves traded 20.00 to 40.00 lower. Beef cross bull calves stayed steady to firm with light supply. Supply included: 79% Slaughter Cattle (14% Steers, 4% Dairy Steers, 9% Heifers, 7% Cows, 4% Bulls, 12% Dairy Heifers, 7% Dairy/Beef Steers, 42% Dairy Cows, 1% Dairy Bulls); 21% Feeder Dairy Calves (83% Bulls, 17% Heifers).
