Compared to last month’s Feeder Special report, Feeder Steers and Feeder Heifers sold steady to 5.00 lower. Holstein Feeder Steers not tested. Feeder Bulls sold steady to 10.00 lower on a light test. Demand was moderate. Supply included: 78% Feeder Cattle (39% Steers, 5% Dairy Steers, 40% Heifers, 16% Bulls); 22% Replacement Cattle (23% Bred Cows, 13% Bred Heifers, 26% Cow-Calf Pairs, 38% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 33%.
