Bath Feeder and Replacement Market Report April 12, 2025

Compared to the previous month’s feeder cattle special, feeder steers and heifers sold mostly 5.00-10.00 higher with good demand. Roughly 70% of cattle were pre-conditioned whether they were weaned, vaccinated, or a combination of the two. Several lots of cattle were also advertised as “naturals.” Buyer attendance was very good and led to an active trade. Several bred cows were offered during the sale, but not reported below. Many of those bred cows, heifers, and pairs sold in the range of 2000.00-27000.00/unit, with a few bringing over 3,000.00. The sale also included 76 head of USDA Graded video/board sale cattle. Those sale result are shown below. Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (50% Steers, 45% Heifers, 3% Bulls, 2% Dairy/Beef Steers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 52%.
