Compared to last week’s sale slaughter cows traded 4.00 to 6.00 higher. Slaughter steers sold 1.50 to 6.50 higher. Slaughter heifers sold 4.00 to 8.00 higher. Holstein bull calves stayed steady to firm. Beef cross bull calves traded 50.00 to 80.00 higher. Supply included: 72% Slaughter Cattle (31% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 15% Heifers, 3% Cows, 3% Bulls, 4% Dairy Heifers, 1% Dairy/Beef Steers, 44% Dairy Cows); 28% Feeder Dairy Calves (93% Bulls, 7% Heifers).
