The National Science Policy Network, of which ASAP is a chapter organization, focuses on engaging early career scientists in policy making. ASAP has worked on NSPN initiatives, include the 2024 Science on the Ballot Initiative.
NSPN offers a variety of programming and an annual science policy meeting, and acts to connect student and post doc groups (like ours!) across the country. They currently give free memberships, and their events include workshops on things like bird-dogging, non-profit leadership, introductions to tech policy, and more.
