Cornell Advancing Science And Policy Club (ASAP) is a student-run organization that connects graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and other members of the Cornell community with science policy on and off campus. We strive to provide opportunities to engage with decision making, meet other policy-interested scientists, communicate science, and learn about careers in science policy.
Our events vary year-to-year, but typically include panel discussions from science policy professionals, informational events around science policy fellowships, opportunities to take direct action in various policy arenas, regular happy-hour socials, and an annual trip to Washington D.C. to meet with legislative offices. ASAP is organized by and for students and postdocs so if there is an event you would like to see, please reach out!
To stay up to date about upcoming events, please join us on Campus Groups and join our Facebook group.
