DESIGN INTERN
Primary Responsibilities: Provide design support to marketing and promotional efforts to an exciting and innovative non-profit organization
Specific Tasks/Duties:
1. Design and create display materials for outreach program.
2. Develop profiles of local farms, take photos, develop and post content to website.
3. Develop posters of local farmers.
4. Work on brochure, website, merchandise and signage development.
Internship Information: This is an unpaid internship. The duration of the internship is a minimum of (3) months, but may be extended if the intern wishes. The time requirements per week are between 4 and 10 hours, and days and times are flexible.
POLICY INTERN
Primary Responsibilities: Assist Policy Coordinator and Executive Director with policy development for the organic farming movement in NY State.
Specific Tasks/Duties:
1. Modify existing and/or create new database of political contacts.
2. Modify existing and/or create new database of media contacts for press releases.
3. Write or research position papers for existing political resolutions.
4. Write or assist with weekly press releases.
