Sage introduced a yogurt & fruit bar this morning. When I was there looking over the options, I already knew the answer to my next question “Where is the dairy free yogurt”? Clearly, we don’t have dairy free yogurt. I piled fresh fruit high into a cup, picked up a Brainy Oats oatmeal to go and a drip coffee with Vanilla Soy. After going through the cash register and paralyzing my wallet at a whopping $9.73, I quickly ate my meal. I took a deep breath in right before my first sip of coffee and soy mixture, and I started to think that the room temperature-shelf stable-citric acid creamer isn’t so bad now. To my surprise, the coffee with soy milk wasn’t as terrible as I thought it would have been. I wasn’t able to drink the entire 12 ounce cup though; this might be the week where I cut down on my coffee consumption. Is it coincidence that Lent begins this week?
