I tried Gluten-Free pasta for the first time today, and it was delicious! Try the Pasta Bake at Synapsis with the Garlic Herb sauce, and added mushrooms, spinach, olives and cheese. This was a treat I didn’t expect to get this week:
A Whole New (Gluten Free) World

While I consider myself to be well versed in dietary restrictions, it is truly a whole new world when you actually live the life. It took me a moment to acclimate to looking at the menus and items on the menu for gluten, and then a few moments more to feel comfortable asking someone if there was gluten in an item. I was thoroughly impressed with both the offerings, and the assistance I was given at North Star Dining. While most people don’t wear a shirt to proclaim their dietary restriction, it was great to see the staff helping us (team GF) figure out what we could eat, and immediately pointing out the Gluten Free stock available to me in the corner of Appel’s dining room.
