We will mail a packet of five sunflower seeds and growing instructions for each registered youth in late May / early June. For teachers, 4-H Club leaders, and other youth leaders, we will mail you individual packets of seeds for the total number of youth you register and let you distribute them.

The seeds should be planted between June 1st and June 15th. We will follow up with you throughout the summer. Your flowers will bloom in late August and September. Contest submission can be made online from August 15th through September 30th. More details to come. Prizes will be awarded to youth for the tallest plan and largest bloom.
