Event Coordinator Responsibilities

Responsibilities of Event Coordinator

The Cornell Dairy is located in Stocking Hall and produces dairy products for distribution across campus.  Therefore, if your menu contains products that are produced by the Dairy (milk, ice cream, yogurt, cheese) we ask that you work with your caterer to make sure Cornell Dairy products are used.  To order the products you need, send an email to CornellDairy@cornell.edu.

Please note that you are completely responsible for making all arrangements associated with your event and leaving  the space clean and in good working order, including the removal of all food waste. Any event with catered food, must have custodial coverage and Conf. Center kitchen rental. For custodial arrangements, contact  Janina Brown, Buildings Care Supervisor, at ja31@cornell.edu. If you are providing minimal food, drop catering, box lunches, etc., there is no need for a kitchen reservation. Failure to leave the room in good condition will result in additional custodial fees and possibly loss of future reservation privileges for you or your group.

Each event must have an assigned event coordinator who will be the point of contact for the event reservation and they or their designee must be present during the entire event and cleanup.

Food delivery and catering personnel must be supervised by the event coordinator at all times to insure Cornell University’s catering requirements are met.
