Description: This erect sod‐forming (spreading) grass is adapted to regions of moderate rainfall and cool to moderate summer temperatures. Bromegrass is excellent for hay or silage and is a palatable pasture plant. It has excellent overwinter hardiness and is a long‐lived perennial.
