1. estimate the amount of land potentially suitable for reforestation in NYS
2. identify and prioritize regions for reforestation efforts to assist the NYS Climate Action Council Scoping Plan.

Key result:

1.7 million acres of post-ag lands are potentially suitable for reforestation.
