Gavin Sacks was Keynote Speaker for the (virtual) 72nd Annual Conference of the American Society for Enology and Viticulture. The talk reviewed recent progress in the Sacks lab and elsewhere in our understanding of H2S, SO2 and other redox-active species in wine.
Dr. Sacks was also a co-author of the 2020 Best Enology Paper in the American Journal of Enology and Viticulture with co-authors from UC Davis, which reported on a new approach to accurate measurement of SO2 in wines
