Lots of American Society for Enology and Viticulture (ASEV) successes from Rachel Allison and Demi Perry in 2020.
Rachel Allison received the ASEV Presidents’ Award for Enology, and also was selected for 1st place for Best Student Video Presentation Award in Enology at the virtual ASEV Student Presentation Competition for her research on the stability of hydrogen sulfide precursors in wine.
Demi Perry received the ASEV Scholarship and an ASEV – Eastern Section Scholarship and was selected for 2nd place in the Best Student Video Presentation Award in Enology at the virtual ASEV Student Presentation Competition for her work on dearomatization of Concord juice for use in premium winemaking.
