– Special Species Symposium (SSS) – 2025 registration coming soon! hosted every year at either Cornell by the Zoo and Wildlife Society (ZAWS) or Penn Vet. The 2025 Special Species Symposium will be held at Cornell March 28-30, 2025.
– One Health Symposium – hosted annually by Cornell’s Veterinary One Health Association (VOHA)
– Wildlife Disease Association Conference (WDA) – annual international conference. The next WDA conference will be held in Canberra, Australia and online from December 1-6, 2024. Geographic regions also hold annual meetings; student awards are available.
– American Association of Zoo Veterinarians (AAZV) – annual conference; some scholarships for student presenters may be available; see the website for more details.
– The Wildlife Society – next annual conference will be held in Edmonton, Alberta, October 5-9, 2025. Student travel grants are available.
– Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians – Exotics365 is a collaborative conference between the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians and the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians will be held August 24-28, 2025 in Seattle, WA.
–International Association for Aquatic Animal Medicine – Annual conference will be held May 4-8, 2025 in Biloxi, Mississippi. Student travel grants available.
–Association of Avian Veterinarians – annual conference will take place October 3-6, 2025 in Phoenix, AZ.
