My responsibilities are to manage the daily operations of the lab, such as training new lab members, guiding and assisting fellow lab members, and maintaining laboratory inventories, equipment and records. In addition, I maintain the many different Trichoplusia ni strains/colonies used in all of the research projects in the lab, and establish new ones when necessary. I also perform biological assays and molecular biology experiments to contribute to the lab’s growing body of knowledge of Bt resistance.
