Each semester, there are a number of performance opportunities for students enrolled in the Cornell Voice Lessons Program. These opportunities will migrate online while in-person performances are restricted, including virtual recital featuring the music of Florence Price in fall 2020. Our weekly, program-wide studio class, Singers’ Forum, will take place on Sundays from 4-6 PM; in fall 2020, these meetings will take place both virtually and in person, with asynchronous opportunities available to students living outside of the Ithaca area or unable to attend in-person.
If you are new to singing, or have never attended a studio class, you can think of Singers’ Forum a little like interactive office hours: a time for all of us to gather and engage as a group with any issue pertaining to singing–be that singing itself, or other musical, technical, linguistic, or performative matters. Everyone is welcome!
