Ithaca is located in the Finger lakes region of the state of New York, about 220 miles from New York City and Philadelphia (both ~4 hrs drive). Other places of interest within driving distance are Montreal (Canada) and the Niagara Falls. You can also fly into Ithaca, to Tompkins County Airport (ITH).
