About the Graduate Field of Environmental Toxicology

Welcome, and thank you for your interest in Environmental Toxicology at Cornell University. The Institute for Comparative and Environmental Toxicology (ICET) is a center for toxicological research, education, and outreach. It combines faculty from across the university and is included in many of Cornell’s environment initiatives. ICET has 40 faculty members spanning academic departments in five Cornell colleges. Specific disciplinary interests of the faculty range from basic studies in environmental toxicology, including biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology, microbiology, food science, nutrition, genetics, environmental chemistry, epidemiology, and veterinary medicine, to societal aspects such as risk communication, public perceptions, and risk management.

At this time, ICET is only accepting graduate students in the concentration of cellular and molecular toxicology in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences (BBS) program.
