Tompkins Pollinator Pathway

Engaging the Community to Restore Plant and Pollinator Biodiversity

Join the Pollinator Pathway

We are excited to share the Tompkins County Pollinator Pathway map! The map shows how the habitats you create will connect to form a corridor, or “Pathway,” that allows pollinators to move across the county, finding food and nesting habitat along the way. This is a great way to share our progress in restoring native plant and pollinator diversity in the area and help build community awareness and support.

The points on the map include data from those who took the Pollinator Pathway Pledge — a first step towards showing our communities’ enthusiasm and efforts toward creating pollinator-friendly habitats. If you haven’t taken the pledge yet and would like to, you can access the pledge here.

The map also includes data from the Tompkins Pollinator Pathway Map Survey, which helps us gather data on your gardens and the plants you grow, so that the map can also include actual pollinator gardens in our yards and public spaces.

Please note that, while the map will be available to the public, we will not display any personal information such as individuals’ names or addresses. People viewing the on-line map will only see approximate locations of private habitats.
