Welcome! We at Cornell are excited to present this year’s Special Species Symposium. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, it will be held virtually in 2021.
The Special Species Symposium is a weekend-long event bringing together students and professionals interested in veterinary medicine and animal management as it relates to non-traditional species. This includes zoo, wildlife, exotics, and aquatics. Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine and University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine host the event in alternating years.  The 2021 symposium will be hosted by Cornell University and take place virtually on Saturday March 20th and Sunday, March 21st, 2021. Lectures will start at 8:00 AM on Saturday.

The Zoo and Wildlife Society is currently in the process of scheduling the lectures and laboratories for this event. We will have a lecture and lab schedule posted as soon as possible. In addition, registrants will receive an email with the final schedules.
