Researchers at Rutgers University are developing new ways to use ground penetrating radar.

In this recent study ground penetrating radar is being tested to measure┬ásoil moisture in a field. This can allow farmers to optimize water usage so they aren’t using too much or too little, especially in dry areas where water is limited.
