Students Win American Society for Horticultural Science Awards

The School of Integrative Plant Science is proud to announce that several prestigious American Society for Horticultural Science awards have been earned by students this past academic year.

Julianna Rose was named one of 16 Outstanding Undergraduate students from around the country for 2025.

Students are selected based on their academic achievement, leadership abilities, participation in campus/club activities, and service to their departments.

 

Sadie Cooper, Joseph DelConte, and Jacob Roitburg were named as ASHS Collegiate Scholars Award Winners.

This award honors the academic achievements of junior and senior undergraduates from department of horticulture, or plant and crop science, who are majoring in horticulture. Students must be in the top 15% of their class based on academic standing.
