Please join me in welcoming Lucille (Lou) Luce to the SIPS administrative staff team. Lou started on Monday, September 26 in the position of SIPS Seminar Coordinator. This position provides support for the weekly seminar series sponsored by each of the five sections in the School of Integrative Plant Science and includes travel arrangements, announcements, AV assistance, and coordinating schedules and itineraries.

Lou has worked at Cornell in building care since 2007 for which she received a Bartels Award for Excellence in 2020. She also owns her own bakery business, making wedding cakes, cupcakes, and custom cookies for events. Lou’s current office is in 135C Plant Science – stop by to say hello if you are in the vicinity! Many thanks to Catalina Enright who has continued to cover seminar coordination since becoming the front desk admin for the Plant Science office.
