The PLANTS Pathway program which stands for “Preparing Leaders and Nurturing Tomorrow’s Scientists” is an undergraduate travel award and mentored experience with the goal of promoting botanical science and fostering a more diverse and inclusive botanical community. Scholars are expected to attend the full BOTANY 2022 meeting in Anchorage – July 23-27, 2022. Each scholar will be paired with two mentors: a peer mentor (emerging professional) and a senior mentor (a professional established in the field of botanical science). Mentors are expected to be important resources for the scholar before, during, and after the conference. In addition, travel costs associated with attendance at the BOTANY 2022 Conference will be fully covered.
