Search for new SIPS Director. My term as SIPS Director ends on June 30, 2022, and I will be stepping down (but in no way retiring!). I will be going on sabbatical at Colorado State University starting in August 2022. Information on the selection process for the next Director will be forthcoming from the CALS Dean’s office. I encourage you all to take part in this important process.

Faculty Search update:

• Sustainable weed management – the search committee is in place and a kickoff meeting will occur this month.
• CALS cohort hire – the cohort search committee has met. Chelsea Specht (CALS Associate Dean for Diversity & Inclusion) is the chair of the committee and Justine Vanden Heuvel is a committee member. The position announcement will be released in the near future.
