In partnership with the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT) and the Technical University of Munich (TUM) Cornell and SIPS graduate students are facilitating a fall workshop focused on the future of farming and food here at Cornell University. The workshop for Cornell students will be held Oct 13th-16th and include exploration and discussion with international students about future farming technology, artificial and genetically modified food, food waste/distribution and more.
If you have an interest in exploring these topics, scientific outreach, and building international relationships, we invite you to apply and join us! In addition to group discussion, we have planned group trips, a cultural exchange dinner, and optional group dinners followed by nightly entertainment to bond with our international guests.
These are full day workshops and food will be provided. The workshop will conclude with a community presentation followed by a group dinner. The workshop is open to any major and we encourage diverse thinking. Application deadline in July 28th, 2019.
