Our SIPS graduates for 2017

Congratulations to the 15 graduate students and 36 undergraduates recognized by SIPS as part of the 2017 Commencement Ceremonies.  It is with great pride that we send them forth to use their talents to address the needs of the world.  Future plans include graduate and post-doctoral research, industry positions, teaching, returning to family farms, and engagement in international policy and food production. Best wishes to them all!

Graduate students:

Horticulture: 2 PhD, 1 MPS

Plant Biology: 2 PhD

Plant Breeding and Genetics: 3 PhD, 2 MS, 1 MPS

Plant Pathology and Plant Microbe Biology: 3 PhD

Soil and Crop Sciences: 1 MS

Undergraduates:

15 Plant Sciences grads: 4 cum laude, 3 magna cum laude, 1 summa cum laude

18 AgSci graduates: 5 cum laude, 1 magna cum laude, 2 summa cum laude
