Welcome to the Sethi Lab website!

Our research seeks to fill information gaps for the management of aquatic natural resource systems.  We work in a diversity of arenas including commercial fisheries science, marine and freshwater fisheries ecology, aquatic invasive species ecology, and statistical genetics, among others. We work across a range of temperate and tropical systems, from Alaska to the Amazon to the Philippines.

Natural resource systems are a combination of ecological and social systems.  In addition to ecological research, we explore socioeconomic dynamics of natural resource systems and natural resource reliant communities with a goal of identifying strategies to cope with high variability inherent in socioecological systems.

Much of our work involves applied statistics, simulation, and modeling to address research questions.  Check out our Research page for more detail.
