The Cornell University Library launches a redesigned website this Monday, January 12 (http://www.library.cornell.edu/). Formerly known as the “Gateway,” the new website features:
- Integrated search interface
- More user-friendly navigation
- MyAccount consolidates all of your account information (eg. items checked out, fines, interlibrary loan, and Borrow Direct items)
- Link to our new WorldCat Local catalog (in beta), although the current catalog will remain the default catalog for the Spring semester 09.
Our own Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, and Veterinary Library web sites will remain unchanged (http://www.library.cornell.edu/aboutus/inside/libraries). From our websites you can directly access databases and resources specific to the library’s subject areas.
