On August 1, the University of Chicago will join the Borrow Direct system, meaning you will have access to University of Chicago library items through the rapid cross-library borrowing system.  Within Borrow Direct, you can access nearly 50 million items and be assured that they will be delivered quicker than traditional ILL means.  To date, over 1.5 million volumes have been access through this system, implemented in 1999.
