Periodically, the Engineering Library has produced posters or presentations detailing the ‘Sticker Shock’ we face each year as the prices for academic journals are increased–often well above inflation–by publishers. In 2002, 2008 and 2013 we produced comparisons of some of the sample prices of academic journals to other, similarly priced things in the rest of the world.
