Cornell’s own Roald Hoffmann will be speaking about his latest collection of essays titled Philosophy, Art & Science of Chemistry at Buffalo Street Books this Friday, February 16 at 6pm. As the bookstores website states: “The Nobel Laureate’s contributions to chemistry are well known. Less well known is that over a career that spans nearly fifty years, Hoffmann has thought and written extensively about a wide variety of other topics, such as chemistry’s relationship to philosophy, literature and the arts.”
