Cornell University will offer a full day short course on Brewing Science & Technology at the Jordan Hall Auditorium in Geneva on Friday, February 24, 2012. This will be entirely presented by Prof. Karl Siebert, who spent over 18 years in the brewing industry and who has received multiple awards from brewing organizations.
This short course will cover barley, malt, hops, brewing water, adjuncts, brewhouse operations, brewing yeast and brewery fermentation, maturation, finishing and beer styles.
The short course will cost $100, which includes meals and handouts.
As of today, 44 brewing industry people, some from as far away as Vermont and Philadelphia, have registered. This is also available to interested people at Cornell.
