The National Science Foundation’s (NSF), as of January 18, 2011, now requires a data management plan with all grant proposals. Sound daunting? The Research Data Management Service Group is here to help.
Cornell faculty and staff are invited to attend an informational session on the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) new policy regarding data management plans. Staff from the Research Data Management Service Group (RDMSG) will review the requirements, describe how researchers can obtain assistance from the RDMSG to create data management plans, and answer questions.
Two sessions will be offered:
Monday, October 10, 1:00 -2:00pm, 102 Mann Library
Tuesday, October 11, 12:30-1:30pm, 110 Phillips.
Advanced registration is not required.
The RDMSG is a virtual organization that provides a coordinated, single point of access for information for Cornell researchers on services related to data management. It is supported by the Cornell Center for Advanced Computing (CAC), the Cornell Institute for Social and Economic Research (CISER), and the Cornell University Library (CUL). These sessions are sponsored by Senior Vice Provost for Research Robert Buhrman and University Librarian Anne R. Kenney.
