PREPARE WORKSHOP SERIES
A new series focused on specific grading and assessment challenges. Lunch is provided! Graduate students and postdocs can complete any three of the workshops to earn a certificate in Assessment Practices for the STEM Classroom. A Humanities certificate is planned for 2016.

GET SET WORKSHOP & DISCUSSION SERIES
Teaching workshops on a variety of topics, led by Center for Teaching Innovation graduate fellows. Complete three or more workshops in a category and earn a certificate. Meet grad students and postdocs across disciplines at informal pizza lunch discussions and Saturday events.

Credentialing Opportunities
Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Practicum
Open to TAs, graduate instructors of First-Year Writing Seminars, and postdocs with access to a course/setting in which they can do research on teaching, in all fields. Receive a $500 small grant and training in systematically studying and improving student learning over the course of fall or spring semester. Participation in four or more training workshops required, plus a poster presentation in May/June at the Classroom Research and Teaching Symposium.
Teaching as Research Internships Related to Flipped Classroom Initiatives
Would you like to be a part redesigning Cornell courses for more active learning methods? Customized mentoring is available for STEM graduate students and postdocs interested in studying the impacts of flipped classrooms. All internships will be tailored to your interests and faculty course leader needs. Funding may be available for implementing research on teaching or presenting results beyond Cornell. GET SET Certificate in Assessing Learning and Teaching
Earn a certificate of participation by completing three or more GET SET workshops on assessing student learning in a two-year period.
