Apply for the CDC Preventive Medicine Residency and Fellowship – The CDC Preventive Medicine Residency and Fellowship (PMR/F) will accept applications for the Class of 2018 from July 1 through July 31, 2017. Physicians, veterinarians, and nurses who are Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) officers, EIS alumni, or those with experience equivalent to EIS and who are U.S. citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply for this full-time training opportunity.

Please note, they have accepted people years after they completed EIS as well as people that can show comparable experience as EIS e.g. a state EIS type of program I think would qualify or working as an applied epidemiologist.
