Home Plate seeks families to host students

Home Plate connects Cornell students with the Ithaca community by matching small groups of students with local families for regular social events, usually dinners hosted by the families. It’s an opportunity for both sides to learn about one another and establish meaningful relationships.

Home Plate was started in 2015 by Cornell Student Assembly’s City and Local Affairs Committee. After a year’s hiatus, the program is back and looking for new hosts for the 2017-18 academic year.

Contact Gopi Ramanathan, Leah Moore or Julia Greenberg by Sept. 29 at homeplate@cornell.edu to become a host.
