Expertise in Agricultural Economics, International Trade and Public Policy Analysis
Rickard’s teaching and research focus is on the economic implications of policies, innovation, and industry-led initiatives in food and beverage markets. In addition to his research, Rickard’s outreach and extension program focuses on answering economic, marketing, and policy questions that are important to New York State horticultural producers, particularly fruit and vegetable growers. He is currently writing a book titled “Agricultural Policy and Global Food Markets” to be published in 2017.
